Georgie’s career includes playing in various opera companies, for musical productions, touring orchestras, and chamber groups. Also being heavily involved in the jazz scene, Georgie has enjoyed performing as a soloist and running a big band in the Newcastle and Sydney area.

Establishing herself as a trumpeter and vocalist, she enjoyed a visit to New Orleans in 2016 where she attended the Jazz Festival and was able to perform in a number of famous venues including Tipitina’s and The Maple Leaf.

Georgie resides in Bellingen and enjoys the laid back lifestyle of the mid north coast and the thriving musical community of Coffs Harbour and its surrounds.

Where did you undergo training?
Bachelor of Classical Music majoring in Trumpet at Newcastle Conservatorium under the guidance of John Kellaway. Further education with Musicology and Theatre studies at Sydney Conservatorium of Music and University of Armidale.
