Rosalind Perry

Music Teacher

Undergraduate Program, Voice, Choir Director

Rosalind started singing in musical theatre and choirs from childhood which progressed into tertiary study in Classical Performance, first in Adelaide and then at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
She sang in the chorus of Opera Queensland for almost 20 years while exploring the joy of community singing by leading choirs.  Performing at festivals in a cappella quartets indulged her love of contemporary and world music, and she was pushed out of her comfort zone to write originals with acoustic folk band, The Bessies.
Recently Rosalind completed her Masters degree in Vocal Pedagogy at the Qld Conservatorium, and continues to be inspired by research into the similarities of classical and CCM voice.  She is lapping up the lifestyle of the Coffs Coast where you can make and hear great music AND live at the beach!
