I have been a Board Director for the last four years and bring to the role broad and diverse experience as a music educator, performer, researcher and academic. My own teaching has involved teaching and training professionals in the areas of early childhood, primary, and secondary classroom music. My teaching career has included being Director of specialised instrumental classes for Yamaha Australia, Director of Junior Music at Scotch College in Melbourne and Head of Music across the Caulfield Grammar School campuses in Melbourne. As a performer I have given many recitals as a pianist and organist within in Australia and Europe. 

 As an academic I was a faculty member in the School of Education at the University of New England where I trained pre-service teachers in classroom music pedagogy and supervised post-graduate research candidates. My research and publications include the fields of music pedagogy, performance, psychosocial musicology, and gerontology. My qualifications include a PhD, MEd Hons, BA Mus, DSCM, DipMusEd, LMusA, and AMusA.
