Directed by Chris Frater, the Coffs Con Stage Band plays Funk, Soul, Motown, Blues, Afro Cuban, Brazilian and Salsa charts, and are quickly becoming a mainstay of the Coffs Con ensemble program, performing on stage regularly as well as around Coffs Harbour at special concerts and events.
The Coffs Con Stage Band is looking to expand its numbers and encourages students of all ages across the region to come and check it out. The Band is open to players of saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and rhythm section and piano.
When: Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30.

Cost: $85 per term
We recommend a minimum standard of Grade 2 AMEB or above to ensure students get the most enjoyment out of their experience. That being said – we welcome anyone who wants to give it a go!

Chris understands that we all have commitments and things change. We encourage students to make a commitment to weekly rehearsals but we understand that life happens and will try to accomodate.
Not at all! We develop programs and repertoire that changes each term and is a healthy mix of funk, soul, blues, contemporary and movie music – they’ll be something for everyone!
