The 2020 Coffs Con String Camp will take place from September 30 – October 2, featuring two ensembles to ensure advanced learning opportunities for all participating students.

Structured to offer opportunities for string players of levels between 2nd grade – LMus, this year’s String Camp is open for students aged between 7-19 and will be run under strict COVID-19 safety guidelines and practices to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved.

A small advanced ensemble (7th grade and up) will be tutored by Pat Brearley (viola) and Annabelle Swainston (violin), working on masterpieces by Debussy and Shostakovich and covering topics for audition techniques and healthy practice routines.

The String Orchestra will take on repertoire aimed to inspire musicians and create a fun and strong learning experience throughout the 3 days. Tutored by Annabelle Swainston, this will offer wonderful chamber music experiences for students between 2nd and 7th grade levels.
