Angus’s musical journey began with piano before moving to the cello, eventually discovering his true passion when he picked up the guitar at the age of eight. Over the past 10 years, he has developed his skills through private guitar lessons, dedicated practice, and a genuine love of music.

Throughout his musical journey, Angus has performed in multiple school bands and has been busking for over five years. These experiences have helped him grow not only as a guitarist but also as a confident and versatile performer. His dedication to music was recognised in the HSC, where he achieved a Band 6 in Music. Having played in a variety of settings, he understands the value of building strong musical foundations while making learning enjoyable.

Having recently graduated from Year 12, Angus is now studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Southern Cross University. Alongside his studies, he is passionate about sharing his love of music with others through teaching. He currently teaches at Boambee Public School and Sandy Beach Public School, and believes that learning an instrument should be enjoyable, rewarding, and tailored to each student’s interests and goals.
