The Demo Sessions program is a practical, hands-on music production workshop series designed for musicians, songwriters, and emerging recording artists who want to learn how to record and mix their own music and create a high-quality demo recording.
Across five weekly sessions, participants will explore the fundamentals of contemporary music production and be guided through the process of developing a polished recording using industry-standard software and techniques.
Working with their own original material, participants will gain practical experience in recording, editing, and mixing while receiving guidance, feedback, and support in a collaborative group environment.

The “Demo” Sessions program is designed to build confidence and capability in contemporary music production. Participants will gain practical skills they can apply to future creative projects, home recording setups, and independent music releases.
Participants will develop foundational knowledge and practical skills in:
- Understanding the recording signal chain
- Microphone types and their applications
- Microphone placement and recording techniques
- Basic acoustic considerations for recording environments
- Digital audio production using Logic Pro
- Core mixing techniques, including:
- Panning
- Equalisation (EQ)
- Compression
- Reverb and delay effects
- Mixing workflows and best practices
- Preparing and exporting music for release and distribution
By the end of the program, participants will have worked towards completing a fully or partially finished recording project.
