Government voucher for creative kids

Creative Kids Rebate: $100 voucher redeemable for music lessons from January 2019 and continued through 2020

In June 2018, the New South Wales Government announced a new $100 voucher for every school-aged child. The Creative Kids vouchers will be available from January 2019.

The Creative Kids Rebate can be put towards the cost of registration, participation or tuition fees for creative and cultural activities. This includes music lessons and ensembles fees.

From 1 January 2019, parents can access both the $100 Active Kids voucher and the $100 Creative Kids Rebate.

Each year, a $100 Active Kids voucher and a $100 Creative Kids  voucher will be available for every school-aged child.

Parents can claim the vouchers online through the Service NSW portal, or in person at a Service NSW centre. The Creative Kids program will help more young people access important learning opportunities across a range of creative activities. The $100 voucher can be used towards the cost of participation in or tuition fees for activities such as music lessons.

Every NSW school student including those who are home schooled or by distance education, will be eligible for a $100 Creative Kids voucher as well as a $100 Active Kids voucher.

To use your voucher at Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium, please take note of the following:

  1. Students must be enrolled for a full term of lessons to use their voucher.
  2. Vouchers can only be used for the student name they are registered under.
  3. Refunds will not be issued for any amount of the voucher not used.
